Dit is de Force Motors SUV, ze zijn er al druk mee aan het testen, dus hij kan ergens in april - mei 2011 geïntroduceerd worden.

Earlier on Rushlane.com, we gave you a sneak peek into the Force Motors SUV which was spied while undergoing test runs on Indian roads. Now according to latest reports from auto industry, Force Motors are all geared to launch their new SUV in the market.

The exterior of Force Motor’s SUV is greatly inspired by Guangdong Foday’s Explorer III. A 2.2L diesel engine will provide the SUV with enough power to get it noticed by Indian consumers. Force Motors top officials have reportedly stated that they have finally completed the test runs and a production ready model is in place for a April-May 2011 launch.

Thanks to Indianautosblog.com, we have the spy pictures of the Force Motors SUV which is currently in its testing phase. This planned SUV launch is an attempt or Force Motors to reinvent themselves. The launch will obviously ensures that Force Motors enters the competitive SUV segment in the Indian auto market, and this could spell wonders for this Abhay Firodia venture.

Previously, the company was popular as Bajaj tempo and gained momentum manufacturing tractors, three-wheelers, light, and heavy trucks. However, the past year has since Force Motors concentrating n their SUV launch. Talking about trying something would make sense here because the Force Motors SUV will be powered by a 2.2 Daimler engine, and other auto parts are being bought in from Korea and China.

Don’t let inquisitiveness get the better of you, because Force Motors is rather serious and has committed 600-800 crores for the SUV project. Being manufactured at Pithampur, MP, and the Force Motors SUV will compete with the Skoda Yeti, Tata Aria, and Ford Endeavour. Its 5-speed manual transmission is expected to rev up 220bhp of power to the rear wheels.
