Niet alleen Toyota moet auto's terugroepen, ook Landrover is er nu aan toe. Een probleempje met de airbags.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that all Land Rover LR2 models built between November 12, 2009 and August 23, 2010 are being recalled. We can't really describe the issue any better than NHTSA, so here's the official statement:

The shorting bar in the clock spring may become disconnected when the driver's air bag module connector is installed, which means the driver's frontal airbag may not deploy as intended or at all and therefore will not be able to properly protect the driver, increasing the risk of injury.

Naturally, the fix will be performed at the owner's local dealership at no charge.
